MAKES "DO-IT-YOURSELF" GAME SECURE

Although the "Do-it-Yourself" game is exciting for players and highly profitable for bingo halls, the conventional method of playing the game on duplicate-form paper tickets is notoriously insecure. Due to full computerization, the Bingo Star® method of playing the "Do-it-Yourself" game eliminates the possibility of players and/or personnel fraud. The player marks the selected numbers on the standard "Do-it-Yourself" form (or marks the "Quick-pick" option to let the system automatically make random picks for the player) and inserts the form into a form reader installed at the cashier’s point of sale window (or optionally, into the self-service kiosk.)

The system then registers the player’s selections and issues a sales receipt imprinted with the selected "Do-it-Yourself" card or cards. The contents of each sold "Do-it-Yourself" card are stored in the memory of the system and utilized to verify the winning cards.

Importantly, the sold "Do-it-Yourself" cards can be played not only manually but are also easily monitored by the BingoStar® stationary and/or hand-held portable player units. Since the player units can automatically monitor thousands of bingo cards, the bottleneck in the player’s ability to play multiple cards is eliminated. As a result, the sales of "Do-it-Yourself" cards increase dramatically, thus yielding high profits for the bingo halls.
